One of the smaller, yet productive brewery in the Netherlands, Brouwerij 't IJ. Brouwerij word literally translates to "beer" in English. Since 1985, when it was founded by Kasper Peterson, the company has been producing a Belgian beer at very reasonable rates.

Located at the eastern end of the city of Amsterdam, with the ancient Dutch windmill used for grinding oats as a landmark, and near the River Ij brewery draws tourists and customers alike.
